Midrasz do Królów I 18:29

וַֽיְהִי֙ כַּעֲבֹ֣ר הַֽצָּהֳרַ֔יִם וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֔וּ עַ֖ד לַעֲל֣וֹת הַמִּנְחָ֑ה וְאֵֽין־ק֥וֹל וְאֵין־עֹנֶ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין קָֽשֶׁב׃

I tak minęło południe i jeszcze szaleli aż do czasu składania ofiary śniednej; ale nie było ani głosu, ani odpowiedzi, ani wysłuchania.

Variantly, "Do not lacerate yourselves," as others do, viz. (I Kings 18:29) "and they lacerated themselves, as was their custom."
